Langtang trekking trip is the third most crowded trekking destination in Nepal. However, it links several trekking destination from one to another. Such trekking trips are: Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gosaikunda and Helambu. It lies just north west of Kathmandu valley. By being close to capital city, trekking can be done from one week to several weeks.

Lang tang is a narrow valley, which lies just south of the Tibetan border. It lies in the north west direction from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Langtang is sandwiched between the main Himalayan ranges to the north and slightly lowers range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang Lirung dominates the valley to the north; Ganchenpo and other beautiful snow peaks lies in the south and Dorje Lhakpa and other great peaks protects the end of the eastern valley. The Langtang Valley lies within the Langtang National Park, which contains varieties of plants, birds and many other species of animal.
The valley is equally important to those who are interested in searching high land vegetation and different bird species. We can see great varieties of rhododendron flower in the Langtang valley. As the climate and temperature changes, the size of tree reduces from 20-30 feet to 10-15 feet in higher altitude. This is a trek, which takes us from the lower narrow valley to as high as 5133m above the sea level. This is not only famous for the flora and fauna of Nepal; it is equally important for magnificent mountain views. This trek provides us the breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (7th highest peak in the world) in the west to as far as Everest region in the east.
The Langtang Valley is very rich in its culture and tradition. This high isolated region is inhabited by the Tamang peoples, whose religious practices, languages and attires are similar to those the Tibetans. This is an absolutely beautiful valley. From this valley, the great Himalayas enter into the south and extend its length to west as far as Vyas Hamal in the far west to the Indian boarder. In the eastern side, this great Himalayan range works as a boarder pillar with China and Nepal. These great Himalayan ranges extend their shape as far as Sikkim in the east. Most of the higher peaks in the country lie in this range. Contact us for more information about thi
